There's a tool called Crossover that is a "Windows emulator" - kinda like VMware or Parallels. It's cheaper so I prefer Crossover to run windows programs on Mac.
But, xcubes does not install properly using Crossover.
Who in the community has experience using xcubes on a Mac? I'd prefer to run the "pc version" of xcubes vs. ios version due to the "link" capability. I really want to transfer data from .cvs files into my nD spreadsheets. Any/all help would be appreciated :-) Timothy
Dear Xcube users, I have recently installed Xcube on a pc running Windows 10. I have a few short queries. I noticed on starting the program that the text and the icons are small in Xcube relative to e.g. MS Excel. I found that the settings in Windows can be used to scale the text size up reasonably well but I don't know how to make the icons larger. I think that the font size of the data and headings of the cubes etc can be increased within Xcube itself. I also noticed that when I tried to export some data to MS Excel I got an error saying that MS Excel interop 15.0.0.0 does not exist. I found that Windows users with the same error obtained using other software had solved this by changing the DLL file to 12.0.0.0 and it cured the problem if you were using MS Excel 2010 as I am. Comments appreciated. Regards Michael Fothergill
